In 2009 12 New Zealand blues bands played all weekend in 5 blues venues on Waiheke Island. Each band entertained the crowds with their own unqiue take on the Blues. In 2010, we're out to take the chill out of winter with more hot bands and a great blusy atmosphere.

How to get to Waiheke

Waiheke Island is an easy 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland or 45 minutes by car ferry from Half Moon Bay. Walk on passengers are also welcome at Half Moon Bay.

Last foot passenger ferry departs Waiheke for downtown Auckland at 12.30am on Saturday nights (early hours of Sunday morning!) or 10.15pm on Sunday night.
